Window Cleaning in Los Altos, CA

Much of the original Los Altos housing is single storey ranch homes from the 1950s and 1960s on generous lots, with sliders and picture windows that are easy to reach and quick to clean. A great many of those houses have been replaced with large two storey new builds, and the new builds tend to have far more glass: tall entry glazing, clerestory windows, and whole walls of folding or sliding doors onto the garden. Two houses next to each other on the same street can be very different jobs.

The trees are the other factor. Mature oaks and old orchard trees drop leaves, pollen, and sap, and in spring that sap and pollen land on the glass as a sticky film that dust alone would not leave. Gutters under oaks fill faster than people expect, and the leaves hold water against the roof line through the wet season.
